Martial Arts History

Martial arts history has a very wide reach. It covers many continents, countries, and regions. It also has extended back in time much longer than other practices labeled as "arts."

It is speculated that martial arts history is rooted in natural tendencies for human aggression. Such tendencies are perceived as a source of inspiration for mock combat. This itself is most certain to exist much further back than the human species. In fact, it is scene beyond humans. Many other animals engage in pretend fighting, such as cats and dogs.

A lot of the techniques which developed throughout martial arts history are seen throughout different areas. This is because they depend so much on human physiology and human capability. For that reason, trends involved in grappling, striking, and weaponry are widespread.
